Our data privacy policy is based on both the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Use of your data

We only collect your personal data if you provide it voluntarily as part of your enrolment for a session or when you open a customer account or when you subscribe to our newsletter. You are aware that we will use your personal data collected as part of the enrolment process for the purpose of processing your order and if necessary in this connection we will pass it on to third parties. Otherwise we will only pass on your personal data if there is a statutory requirement to do so.

During the enrolment process your personal data is transmitted via the Internet using SSL encryption. Credit card data is not passed on to third parties and we use strict precautions to ensure that it is protected against access by third parties. We use technical and organisational measures to secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons.

Once the contract with you has been implemented in full and you have made full payment, your data will be blocked for further utilisation and will be deleted when the statutory retention periods under tax law and commercial law expire, unless you have explicitly consented to the continued utilisation of your data by opening a customer account or subscribing to our newsletter, etc.

When you subscribe to our newsletter your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Use of cookies

Cookies are data files used for identification purposes. We transmit them via your web browser on to your computer’s hard disk and can read the cookies every time you visit our website. We use a pseudonym for these ‘permanent’ cookies to protect your data. We do not, however, use separate encryption for our short-term cookies, although they are protected against being read by third parties by the security standard of your browser.

The use of cookies enables us to recognise your browser. This enables us to make your visit to our website more attractive and to tailor our offering to your preferences.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (”Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer to allow analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website will normally be transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there.

We would, however, advise you that Google Analytics has been extended on this website with the code gat._anonymizeIp(); to guarantee anonymised collection of IP addresses (IP masking). The activation of IP masking on this website means that your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area in such a way that prevents a direct link being made to you.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted from your computer in connection with Google Analytics will not be consolidated with any other data held by Google.

Right of to object: You may prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by using your browser software settings; a suitable browser add-on may be downloaded and installed for this purpose. We would, however, like to draw your attention to the fact that by doing so you may be unable to use all the functions of this website to the full extent. You may also prevent the data created by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being recorded and transmitted to Google and being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available from this link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can find further information at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de or at http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information on Google Analytics and data privacy).

Repetition of consent statements

You have explicitly given us the following consents, if applicable, and we have logged your consent. We are obliged to ensure that you can access the content of your consents at any time. You may revoke your consents at any time with effect for the future.
